Myrrh is special because it helps us open up to
receive support from higher levels, without any
effort or action having to be taken on our side.
Thus it is especially good for people who are
completely despondent, very ill or have nothing left
to give to meet the angels halfway.
Once there was a special young woman who could see the
angels. On this day, she felt a call and visited the
prison in her town, where she asked to see a man who was
going to be executed the next morning for many terrible
and vile deeds. The prison wardens didn't argue; they
showed her to the cell where the prisoner was lying,
sick from an injury he had sustained in his capture. She
entered and saw that the bad man surrounded by many,
many angels who were trying to reach out to him but
could not touch him; he was all closed off and on top of
that, surrounded by swirling darkness from his bitter
life.
The young woman sat down beside him and took his hand.
The other hand, she held out to the angels. One stepped
forward, the man's most special guardian, and they took
her hand. Thus she became the bridge; and knowing,
healing and forgiveness flowed into the man, who cried
and in the night, died of his injuries. |
